One of the more aggressive and destructive forms of cancer is neuroendocrine carcinoma of colon. The worst part of this disease is that more often than not it is detected late into the advanced stages at which time it is more difficult to make treatments.

The colon is the 'tube' at the end of our digestive tract which stores waste prior to its expulsion.
